PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horn mounting structure for an automobile capable of securing a sound pressure in a vehicle front direction while preventing the sound pressure from being reduced by raising a temperature of an exciting coil in the horn even when the horn is arranged at a side part of a closing plate in a fender. SOLUTION: The horn mounting structure for the automobile is provided with a side frame of a U-shaped cross section extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and having an opened outer side of the vehicle; the closing plate mounted to the side frame so as to close the opening at the outer side of the vehicle of the side frame and extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; and the horn arranged near the side part of the side frame.
