VISUAL EXAMINATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual examination device capable of rotating a camera in visual examination so as to exceed 360°to rapidly and certainly perform inspection. SOLUTION: The visual examination device for observing the appearance state of an inspection target 1 is equipped with: a table 3 capable of fixing the inspection target 1 and movable only in one of X- and Y-directions; the camera 5 arranged on the table 3 to photograph the inspection target 1; a camera part 7 loaded with the camera 5 and controlling the camera 5 so as to rotate the same on the table 3 at a desired angle; a camera moving and fixing part 9 capable of being moved in one direction different from the moving direction of the table 3 to connect the camera part 7; and a control computer 21 for processing the data showing the poor condition of the defective place of the inspection target 1 and controlling the camera moving and fixing part 9 and the camera part 7. The camera part 7 is controlled on the basis of the poor condition of the inspection target 1 to control the rotary driving of the camera 5 rotated around the camera moving and fixing part 9.
