A water tank of a steam cleaner having a water outflow blocking device is provided to block water outflow when the steam cleaner is inclined in use, and to freely utilize the steam cleaner to a desired angle by continuously discharging steam, thereby improving using convenience. A water tank of a steam cleaner comprises: a lower case(110) formed with an upper end opened and shaped as a hollow square box, a combining sill(111) on the rim of the upper end, a heater on the lower surface, and a first discharge pipe hole to pass a steam discharge pipe inside; an upper case formed with a lower surface opened and shaped as a hollow square box, a combining sill on the rim of the lower end to be combined with the combining sill of the lower case, a water injection port on one side of the upper surface, and a space unit(126) inside by a partition wall(125); a water outflow blocking unit combined with the upper case to change a direction of discharged steam according to gravity center so as to block water outflow to the space unit of the upper case, and to discharge only steam to supply steam to the steam discharge pipe; a first rubber packing(140) combined between the combining sill of the upper case and the combining sill of the lower case; and a second rubber packing(150) combined between the partition wall of the upper case and the water outflow blocking unit.
