A bone anchoring device is provided to securely anchor a shaft to a bone with less force than conventional bone screw or nail, without applying an external force to the bone, when the shaft is inserted in the bone. A bone anchoring device includes a shaft(2) anchored to a bone, and the shaft has plural barb elements(12). The barb elements are integrally formed on a tubular body(10) which is a part of the shaft. The barb elements are formed by cutting the wall of the tubular body. The barb elements have a cutting edge formed to a circumference line at a specific angle. The barb elements are elastically deformable to the wall of the tubular body. The tubular body forms a hollow portion of the shaft. |
