<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a search method of agricultural chemicals defining a target, i.e., a method for screening compounds with activity to the specific target for the purpose of chemically adjusting target parts which can control insects and noxious organism, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Medicine gives change to physical state of noxious organism and has an ability to change the activity of peptidyl-dipeptidase A (hereinafter, the enzyme) derived from an insect. The screening method of noxious organism-preventing ability of a material to be examined comprises, for instance, (1) a first process of measuring the activity of the enzyme in a contact system between the enzyme selected from a group (A) including protein or the like composed of amino acid sequence shown by a sequence number 1 and the material to be examined, and (2) a second process of evaluating the noxious organism-preventing ability of the material based on a difference obtained by comparing the activity measured in the first process with activity in contrast. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
