PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-type program viewing system, receiver and program viewing method in which a program or information meeting the attributes of a viewer can be selected and the viewer is enabled to browse the selected program or information. SOLUTION: A control section of the receiver comprises: an information reading means for reading an attribute code of a viewer stored on a storage medium through a reader; a matching means for matching a target person code added to broadcasting program information stored in a received program table and the attribute code read by the information reading means; and a display device control means for outputting the broadcasting program information through a display device if it is determined in matching due to the matching means that the target person code meets the attribute code.
