PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent composition capable of giving a hardened film which has a satisfactory oxidation inhibiting function, excels in processability and flexibility, and suppresses occurrence of cissing and protrusions satisfactorily when a plastic material is coated with the hardened film. SOLUTION: The coating agent composition comprises a thermosetting resin composition comprising a phenol resin and a charge transport compound having a functional group capable of reacting with the phenol resin, and having a moiety where the phenol resin and the charge transport compound link together through the functional group, and a solvent which dissolves the thermosetting resin composition. By heat-curing the coating agent composition, a hardened film which excels in processability and flexibility, and suppresses shedding and occurrence of protrusions when a plastic material is coated with the hardened film can be obtained. When the resulting hardened film is applied to a functional layer (a protective layer 6 or the like) of an electrophotographic photoreceptor 100, the lifetime of the electrophotographic photoreceptor 100 can be extended.
