PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car monitoring device capable of stably transmitting images in an elevator car and maintenance data (travel data) using an existing traveling cable even if an inverter for an elevator is operated for the travel of the elevator car. SOLUTION: Communication devices 5a, 5b using a plurality of carrier wave signals and allocating transmission data to each carrier wave signal to communicate, estimate S/N (signal to noise ratio) to each carrier wave signal and change the transmission data allocation amount to the carrier wave to communicate. The communication devices 5a, 5b are installed at the elevator car 1 and outside the elevator car, and a stranded wire built in the traveling cable 7 is used as a communication line to carry out communication between both communication devices.
