PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical or radiographic image display device capable of recognizing pixels in the periphery. SOLUTION: The display device visualizes and outputs the pixel value in an arbitrarily selected area 13B of an X-ray image 13A obtained by radiography as a plurality of numeric value data arranged in matrices corresponding to respective coordinates of the area 13B. For example, when the numeric value data are visualized and output/displayed in a monitor 13, the visualized data are displayed in a frame 13C separate from the X-ray image 13A. Accordingly, if the periphery of a target pixel including the target pixel is the area 13B to be selected, the pixel values in the periphery are visualized and output as a plurality of value data arranged in matrices, so that the pixels in the periphery can be recognized based on the result of the output.
