<p>An air-condition system and a control algorithm thereof are provided to prevent overflow of condensing water generated when a drain pump is malfunctioning during operation of the air conditioner. An air-condition system includes a drain pump(14), a diagnosis part, and a drain pump controller(16). The drain pump is connected to an air conditioner to drain water. The diagnosis part determines whether the drain pump is normal or malfunctioned. The drain pump controller maintains or stops operation of the drain pump depending on the diagnosis result of the drain pump. The drain pump controller is connected to a controller of the air conditioner for controlling operation of the air conditioner. The control algorithm includes a first step of determining whether a drain pump installed in an air conditioner is normal or malfunctioned, and a second step of controlling operation of the drain pump or the air conditioner depending on the determination result of the first step.</p> |
