PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the print processing capability of a printer from decreasing by economizing resources of a computer of the printer without having to execute thumbnail generation and storage processing in the printer.

SOLUTION: A thumbnail processor 13 is a data processor that can communicate with an MFP storing print data showing a print object image. The thumbnail processor 13 includes: a print data acquisition part 50 for acquiring the print data from the MFP; a thumbnail generation part 51 for generating a thumbnail of the print object image shown by the print data on the acquired print data; and a thumbnail correspondence relation storage part 42 for storing the thumbnail generated by the thumbnail generating part 51.
