PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the form of an earth electrode after a provisional bending process for each work regardless of the position of a chip bonded to the earth electrode. SOLUTION: In the case that a bend punch 90 is pressed to a reference position when the precious metal chip 14 is bonded at a reference distance from the end face of the other end side of the earth electrode 13, when the precious metal chip 14 is bonded to a position farther than the reference distance on the end face side of the earth electrode, the bend punch 90 is pressed farther than the reference position, and when the precious metal chip 14 is bonded to a position nearer than the reference distance on the end face side 10a of a housing 10, the bend punch 90 is pressed nearer than the reference position.
