<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with a shield case having a shield case firmly holding a housing of a connector body. <P>SOLUTION: The shield case 20 made of a metal plate fitted to a housing 11 having a front part used as the fitting side to a mating connector, has lock pieces 21 extending from the rear part of the shield case, and the shield case is locked to the housing by bending the lock pieces 21 of the fitted shield case toward the outside surface of the housing. Each lock piece 21 has a mounting tip 21C at a part extending to the lower side relative to the bottom face of the connector after bending it toward the outside surface of the housing 11, and is mounted to a mounting object member by plunging the mounting tip 21C into a corresponding hole P2 formed on the mounting object member of the connector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
