PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile cloth having level differences showing large and clear level differences formed between long pile parts and short pile parts even if the mean pile length of the long pile parts is short. SOLUTION: In the pile cloth with the level differences having the long pile parts and short pile parts, the short pile parts are of an acrylic fiber containing 30-45 wt.% acrylonitrile, the mean pile length of the pile cloth is 5-10 mm, and the level differences of the long pile parts and short pile parts are 35-80% of the mean pile length.
