PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate storage base that prevents occurrence of an undesired condition of a stored printing plate and improves efficiency in printing plate replacement. SOLUTION: This printing plate storage base 10 stores a sheetlike printing plate S, which is attached to the plate cylinder of a printer, such that the printing plate S is curved.
