The invention relates to an electromagnetic valve (40) for actuating an actuator (52) with an armature (48) and with an electromagnet (44). The travel of the armature (48) is transmitted to the actuator (52) by means of a transmitting element (50). The armature (48) is housed inside a guide (46, 62, 64) of a housing (42) of the electromagnetic valve (40). A damping element (12) is placed between the armature (48) and the transmitting element (50). At least one opening cross-section (24) is formed in said damping element whereby being perpendicular or coaxial to an axis of symmetry (10).
