The magnetic capsule (2) is swallowed by the patient and can be moved by the surgeon using a complementary magnetic device. The capsule comprises a magnet (3), an optical unit (4) and light emitting diodes (5a,5b). An elastic cover (20) is pulled over the capsule (2) before use and closed by welding (14). A part of the cover (20) is transparent (11) for the positioning of the camera (4) and the light emitting diodes (5a,5b). The cover (20) can be disposed of after use.
