A torque sensor for a steering unit of a vehicle is provided to maintain a stable output of the torque sensor with respect to a change of temperature or a change of a supply power source. A torque sensor for a steering unit of a vehicle includes a step-up circuit section(4), an oscillation section(6), a current amplifying section(8), a reverse current amplifying section(10), first and second coils, first and second thermistors, a first differential amplification section(12a), a first sampling pulse generating section(14a), a first synchronous wave section(16a), a first sample holding section(18a), and a first current/voltage converting section(20a). The first voltage/current converting section converts a voltage output through the first sample holding section to a current and outputs the converted voltage to a torque signal.
