<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that allows one operator alone to easily correct the distortion even for a large swing angle in the horizontal direction. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 10 has a vertical direction acceleration sensor 41 for detecting the inclination angle of the projector 10 to the vertical direction, and two horizontal direction acceleration sensors 42, 43 disposed at separate positions in the projector 10 for detecting the travel distance in the horizontal direction. An image controller 30 comprises a correction angle calculator 31 for calculating the correction angle from a declined angle detected by the vertical direction acceleration sensor 41, and calculating the turn angle, when turning the projector 10, from the distance between the two horizontal direction acceleration sensors 42, 43 and their travel distances to take it as a horizontal direction correction angle; and a distortion corrector 33 for correcting the distortion of an output image by a projector 20, based on the calculated correction angles in the vertical and horizontal directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
