<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light-emitting element array capable of enhancing light irradiation efficiency without degrading mixing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The linear light-emitting element array for a backlight is provided with a substrate 1, LED bare chips 2 of RGB arrayed in a row on the substrate 1, and sealing resin continuously covering each of the LED bare chips 2. The sealing resin 3 has a surface shape 30 deflecting light emitted from the light-emitting element, and a contour of the surface shape 30 at a cross section along an arraying direction of the LED bare chips 2 is of a shape made by a plurality of triangles continued at a shorter pitch of 50 μm than an arraying pitch of 2 mm of the LED bare chips. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
