<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device that can be maintained easily. <P>SOLUTION: The image-forming device comprises an integrated application where two functions are integrated into one, and an application management part for managing a state where the integrated application expresses its own property, the propriety of the shift of the state, and processing in accordance with the shift. The application management part comprises a setting means for managing an initial setting in the image-forming device, and a setting to various pieces of setting information in maintenance; an application configuration management means for managing the configuration of the application for executing a prescribed function; a setting information holding means for holding information set by the setting means; and a power switching function that manages the status of power in the image-forming device, and has a power state for indicating the use of current power.
