<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective liquid crystal display device, with which variations in white color tone in a reflective mode is suppressed, and at the same time, lowering of reflectance is suppressed to a minimum, even if a coloring material used in a transmissive region is the same as that used in a reflective region, in the transflective liquid crystal display device with post spacers arranged therein. <P>SOLUTION: The transflective liquid crystal display device is equipped with a color filter substrate 30; a TFT substrate; a liquid crystal interposed between the color filter substrate 30 and the TFT substrate; the post spacers which are formed only on pixels, having a green coloring material and determines a cell gap; and light-shielding sections which are installed only at specified regions in the vicinity of positions with the post spacers formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
