PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus capable of avoiding increase in the number of components, and preventing damage of an LCD panel caused by external shock or the like. SOLUTION: In the LCD apparatus 1, the LCD panel 3 is accommodated in a case frame 2, and an elastic deformable support stripe 8 for supporting a non-display area of a front side of the LCD panel 3, is unitedly provided in the case frame 2.
