PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal in which photography function is enhanced by making a remote controller separable from the case, power consumption is reduced under a state where the remote controller is separated, and loss of the remote controller is prevented by returning the separated remote controller without fail. SOLUTION: An image pick-up means 7 such as a camera is arranged on the back side of the upper case 2b of a portable terminal 1, and a remote controller 9 incorporating an auxiliary display means 6 is attached removably to an attaching portion 8 recessed in the upper case 2b. The remote controller 9 performs wireless communication with the upper case 2b when it is separated, and has a shutter button 10 and a zoom button 11 as the operating switch of the image pick-up means 7.
