PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control circuit which requires no adjustment of directivity by arranging phases of ripples contained in transmission signals of two directional couplers to be different by 180°, and by adding detection outputs of directional couplers. SOLUTION: A power control circuit 100 comprises: a transmission amplifier 1 that amplifies transmission signals; a transmission channel 2 for transferring transmission signals; a load circuit 3 which is a load of transmission signal; directional couplers 4 and 7 that are provided between the transmission amplifier 1 and the load circuit 3 to take out a part of the transmission signals propagated to the load circuit 3; a directional coupler 11 which takes out a part of the transmission signals reflected by the load circuit 3; wave detectors 5 and 8 for detecting outputs of the directional couplers 4 and 7; a wave detector 13 for detecting the output of the directional coupler 11; an adder 10 for adding the output of the wave detector 5 and that of the wave detector 8 together; and an error amplifier 18 which controls the transmission amplifier 1 on the basis of an output Vc of the adder 10 and an output Vd of the wave detector 13.
