PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network apparatus capable of confirming the effect to be caused in a whole system by actually unstabilizing a transmission state of a network. SOLUTION: Each of network apparatuses 010 to 016 includes: a reception frame identification section 105 for identifying a received frame and storing the frame in a storage means; a transmission data output section 109 for transmitting the frame; a monitor timer section 111 for monitoring time-out of a token, and a simulated fault mode setting section 101 for generating a control signal in a fault mode, and the simulated fault mode setting section 101 transmits the control signal in the fault mode to at least one of the reception frame identification section 105, the transmission data output section 109, and the monitor timer section 111 to allow them to execute an abnormity operation by means of a ring type network protocol.
