<p>This invention provides a method for designing a member, comprising a first step of conducting, through a computer, a press molding analysis based on press molding conditions, that is, a molded product shape or a member shape, a wrinkle pressing load, a friction coefficient, material tensile strength, yield strength, a stress-strain relationship, and plate thickness, to compute molded product plate thickness distribution and post-molding strain distribution, and a second step of conducting, through the computer, a molded product performance analysis based on the state quantity of the molded product, that is, the plate thickness distribution, the post-molding strain distribution, and the molded product shape or member shape, to compute member performance. In this case, while varying at least one of the above press molding conditions, the computer repeats, by a predetermined number of times, calculation from the first step to the second step and outputs optimal press molding conditions for providing the maximum or target value of the above performance.</p> |
