A diaphragm and shutter apparatus of a small-sized camera is provided to obtain an improved screen quality by adding a mechanical shutter and diaphragm function, with the apparatus occupying the minimum space. A diaphragm and shutter apparatus of a small-sized camera includes a cover(110), a base(160), a plurality of shutter films(131,132), a link section(133), and a diaphragm and shutter drive section(150). A light passing hole is formed in the base to pass light at a central portion of the base. A plurality of slits are formed in the base. The shutter films are rotated to open and close the light passing hole. The link section is supported by the base and rotates the shutter films. The diaphragm and shutter drive section rotates along the slit of the base and drives the link section. |
