BIOMETRICS AUTHENTICATION APPARATUS, TERMINAL EQUIPMENT, AND CONSUMER TRANSACTION FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold and remove a biological body over and from an authentication apparatus when sampling biometric features a plurality of times in the registration of the biometric features for biometrics authentication.

SOLUTION: This biometrics authentication apparatus is provided with a presence/absence-of-biological-body detecting sensor for detecting whether or not the biological body exists. Each time the biometric feature is acquired during the registration of the biometric features, it is judged whether or not the biological body is removed once from the apparatus, according to output from the sensor. When the biological body is not removed, a guidance to prompt a user to remove the biological body once from the apparatus is displayed.
