<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-reflection film which is easily made to be larger-area and has a low reflectance, and to provide a method for efficiently manufacturing the anti-reflection film at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-reflection film has a fine protrusion structure. The fine protrusion structure is preferably realized as follows: a honeycomb-like porous film produced by self-organization is divided in the thickness direction; the divided honeycomb-like porous films are arranged regularly; in a top view, a tip on an arbitrary first protrusion and tips on at least two protrusions adjacent to the first protrusion are located on a first straight line, and a tip on a second protrusion adjacent to the first protrusion and tips on at least two protrusions which are different from at least the two protrusions that are adjacent to the second protrusion and adjacent to the first protrusion are together located on a second straight line; and the first straight line is substantially parallel to the second straight line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
