<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a leakage current caused by light reflected on a common electrode and made incident on a semiconductor layer of a thin film transistor. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises a common electrode display plate including the common electrode, a thin film transistor display plate placed opposite to the common electrode display plate, and a liquid crystal layer formed between the common electrode display plate and the thin film transistor display plate, wherein the common electrode is formed with thickness producing 5% or less reflectivity of light incident through the thin film transistor display plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
