TRANSPARENT FILM, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND POLARIZING PLATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE BY USING THE TRANSPARENT FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent film having excellent transparency, elastic modulus, moisture permeability and dimensional stability, and a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device suppressed with the leak of light and excellent in durability by using the film.

SOLUTION: This transparent film comprises a melamine resin and cellulose acylate; the method for producing the transparent film comprises a process (casting process) of casting a cellulose acylate solution containing the cellulose acylate and a compound having a melamine structure, and a heating process of heating the film formed by the casting process; the polarizing plate by using the transparent film as a protecting film; and the liquid crystal display device by using at least any of these transparent film or polarizing plate by using the same are provided.
