<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in braking force acting on a car, even in a situation, where shortage of resistive braking force, generated due to rotation resistance of an internal combustion engine and of regenerative braking force to be outputted to a driving axis from an electric motor, is generated. <P>SOLUTION: When it is determined that all switching elements of inverters of motors MG1, MG2 are cut off the gates in steps S114 or S122, insufficient brake force is output from disk brake to replenish the force. Thus, even if a situation, in which the shortage of the resistive braking force from the engine to be outputted to the driving axis by the motor MG1 and of the regenerative braking force to be outputted to the driving axis by the motor MG2 occurs, deterioration in the braking force, operating on the car, can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
