<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo fan, capable of performing calm and efficient operation by increasing static pressure to increase air quantity, and minimizing separation of flow generated on the blade surface and backflow swirling phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: Cross sectional form of a blade 8 perpendicular to a rotating shaft is continuously varied from a main plate 6 side toward a shroud 7 side. Close to the shroud 7, a rear edge part 8b is formed as a curved surface of a smaller curvature toward the negative pressure surface side. Air on the negative pressure surface side smoothly flows along the curved surface, so that peeling phenomenon of flow due to generation of disturbing currents is restricted, and flow passage loss is minimized. Generation of backflow swirling is prevented, and decrease of blowing efficiency is minimized. As the cross sectional form is continuously varied, quick change of flow is not caused, but efficient blowing operation is performed while reducing the flow passage loss. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
