<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of simultaneously setting functions registered in different programs through a simple procedure if different functions are registered in the programs, respectively. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus including a so-called program function, a plurality of programs are selectable and control is performed to preferentially adopt a function with a high-priority setting value among functions stored in the programs.
