摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rough display or display irregularity due to unstable boundaries of liquid crystal domains in a liquid crystal display apparatus with a multi-domain in-plane switching system which suppresses coloring due to changes in viewing angles. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display apparatus with a multi-domain in-plane switching system includes a plurality of sub regions 1, 2 having bend portions as boundaries, wherein a liquid crystal driving electrode comprising a pixel electrode 71 and a common electrode 72 gives the bend portion as bent into a twofold V-shape composed of an outer V-shape and an inner V-shape inwardly extended from the outer V-shape. In particular, an angle between the extending direction of the liquid crystal driving electrodes (71, 72) and the initial alignment direction of the liquid crystal is larger near the boundaries of the sub regions 1, 2 than in other regions.
