PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a spindle and a bearing in an operating site of a machine tool in a short time when the spindle device gets out of order. SOLUTION: A housing of a spindle head 5 is divided into a front housing 23 and a rear housing 25, and both housings are fastened by a bolt 27. A spindle 7 is fitted to the front housing 23 through a front bearing 9, and the spindle 7 is provided with a rotor 43 of a built-in motor, a bearing case 33 through a rear bearing 11, and a draw bar 51 for clamping the tool to construct a front housing unit 93.
