PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved carrier tube for a sensor or sampler used for metal dissolution or cryolite dissolution. SOLUTION: Longitudinal-direction grooves 2 are distributed uniformly along the circumferential direction of the carrier tube 1, and longitudinal-direction ridged parts 6 are arranged between each longitudinal-direction groove 2. Each longitudinal-direction ridged part 6 having the same section is oriented toward the outside in the radius direction, and each longitudinal-direction groove 2 is oriented toward the inside in the radius direction. When two carrier tubes 1 having this array constitution are arranged adjacently, each carrier tube is engaged mutually under the mode of a form coincidence shape, and thereby a relative rotational motion is never generated.
