PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier suited to use in a sauna. SOLUTION: The humidifier 10 is provided with a box shaped body 12 with an opened upper part, placed on a heat source 11, a multiplicity of high specific heat material pieces 14 heated by hot air supplied from the heat source, a support member 16 perpendicularly extended upward from one end of the body, and a water receiving member 20 formed such that a certain amount of water can be accumulated in an interior. It is composed such that the water receiving member is turnably attached to an upper end of the support member, the water receiving member turns when water is supplied to the water receiving member and a certain amount of the water accumulates in the interior of the water receiving member, and the water is sprinkled on the high specific heat material pieces.
