摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make elasticity exerted by a heat insulating material composed of a rigid foamed plate, and to make the heat insulating material hardly rupture even in the action of a bending force. SOLUTION: In the heat insulating material A, a plurality of grooves 2 (2a-2d), the depths of which are greater in dimension than half their thicknesses, are provided on both the sides 1b and 1c of the rigid foamed plate 1 in parallel with an end surface 1a thereof, and at least a part of each groove is covered with a covering sheet 3 with flexibility. In the heat-insulated airtight structure of a steel beam, holes 11d and 11e formed in the web 11c of the steel beam 11 are covered with an airtight sheet 14; the heat insulating material B is arranged on the outdoor side of the web 11c; and the end surfaces 1a and 1d parallel to the groove 2 are attached by being fitted between upper and lower flanges 11a and 11b.
