An LCD is provided to improve the reinforcement performance of a light guiding plate, by forming a protruding part at a connection region between a body part and an extension fixing part in the light guiding plate. An LCD comprises an LCD panel and a light guiding plate(50) disposed on a rear surface of the LCD panel. The light guiding plate includes a body part(51), at least one extension fixing part(53) extended from the body part, and at least one protruding part(55). The protruding part is formed at a connection region, where the extension fixing part and the body part are connected to each other.
