DELIVERING SERVICES IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

A method of delivering services in a wireless communications system comprising a radio access network and a core network, the method comprising the steps of: establishing a radio access bearer for delivering one of a set of services to an end user via a signalling channel, each service having certain delivery requirements; determining in the radio access network that the delivery requirement for one of said services cannot be met; advising the core network that the delivery requirement for the said one service cannot be met; and providing a radio access bearer to allow at least one other service in the set to be delivered to that end user. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
