A developer supply container (1) is detachably mountable to a developer receiving apparatus (10), the developer receiving apparatus including a developer receiving port (10b) and an apparatus shutter (11) for opening and closing the developer receiving port (10b). The developer supply container (1) comprises a container body (1a) accommodating a developer, the container body (1a) being provided with a developer supply port (1b) for supplying the developer through a developer receiving port (10b) provided in the developer receiving apparatus (10), a driving connecting member (5) for operatively connecting with a driving member (12) provided in the developer receiving apparatus (10), the driving connecting member (5) being movable relative to the container body (1a), an engaging portion (1e,1f), provided in the container body (1a), engageable with the apparatus shutter (11), a grip portion (2) for rotating the container body (1a) to open and close the apparatus shutter (11) by the engaging portion (1e,1f), and an interrelating mechanism (7a,1g) for interrelating an advancing and retracting movement of the driving connecting member (5) relative to the driving member (12) with opening and closing movements of the apparatus shutter (11) by the engaging portion (1e,1f). |
