A hands-free cable keeping apparatus is provided to eliminate inconvenience of connecting cables when a hands-free unit is used in a vehicle, and to prevent the cables from being lost. Cables are individually equipped with the first and second terminals on one side and the other side to connect a hands-free unit with a portable phone. The first switch(2a) is operated to wind the cable of the second connection terminal separated from the portable phone while the first connection terminal of the cable is connected to the hands-free unit. A controller(4) outputs a control signal for winding the cable of the second connection terminal according to operation of the first switch(2a). A driver(6) is driven by being synchronized with the control signal. A cable winding unit(8b) winds the cable of the second connection terminal. A cable supporting unit(8a) supports the cable wound on the cable winding unit(8b). |
