The invention relates to a method for production of mixed polymers containing silicon from ethylenically-unsaturated organic monomers and silicon macromers in the form of the aqueous polymer dispersions thereof, or in the form of polymer powders which may be re-dispersed in water, by means of radically-initiated polymerisation in aqueous medium and optional drying of the polymer dispersion thus obtained.
