Reference data from audio/video signals and corresponding report messages associated with each other are all stored on a first lookup table in a storage device (51). A central unit (50) has an analysis module for comparing transmitted audio/video signals with the stored reference data in the first lookup table and for selecting reference data. An independent claim is also included for a method for monitoring an environment and for calling a user out automatically.
