PUR-Polyester soft foam based on a polyetheresterpolyol

Polyether-ester polyols (PEEP) with an OH number of 60-160 mg KOH/g and a viscosity of not more than 500 mPa.s at 75[deg]C, containing repeat units derived from (I) aliphatic polycarboxylic acids, (II) polyols with an OH number of more than 550 mg KOH/g and (III) ether group-containing polyols with an OH number of less than 120 mg KOH/g. Independent claims are included for (1) a method (M1) for the production of PEEP by polycondensation of the above components with cleavage of water or 1-4C monohydric alcohol (2) a mixture (IV) which is clear at room temperature (RT), containing at least 50 parts by weight (pts. wt.) poly-(diethylene glycol adipate) and up to 50 pts. wt. PEEP as above (3) a method for the production of (IV) by mixing the components (4) a method for the production of flexible PUR-polyester foam by reacting (IV) with a polyisocyanate component, a blowing agent, catalyst(s) and optionally fire retardants and/or other additives (5) flexible PUR-polyester foam obtained by this method (6) a method for the production of composite materials by laminating the above foam with a textile or an outer layer using a surface melting process or a suitable adhesive bonding process (7) textile- and/or outer layer-foam composites containing flexible PUR-polyester foam as above .
