<p>The sensor-transmitter has a photovoltaic unit (PVU) converting e.g. solar energy into electrical energy, and an analog input (11) connected to a sensor. Under the control of a CPU (INIT), a radio frequency signal emitting unit (RFU) transmits signals related to a physical quantity measured by the sensor to a monitoring device. A storage unit has capacitors (C1, C2) for storing the electrical energy, and a controlled switch (TR) is connected in series with the second capacitor (C2), switch and second capacitor being connected in parallel with the first capacitor (C1). An independent claim is also included for an operating method of an autonomous sensor-transmitter.</p> |
