An automatic-cum-manual locking device for a window is provided to maximize the effects of crime prevention, protection against wind, sound insulation, watertightness and airtightness by locking and unlocking an automatic locking device conveniently and operating a manual locking device simply with a handle, to prevent natural disasters such as a typhoon and housebreaking, and to protect against burglars by locking a window and a window frame strongly. An automatic-cum-manual locking device for a window comprises: an automatic-cum-manual locking unit(C) composed of an automatic striker(16) and a manual striker(16-1) fixed to a window frame, a bracket(1) fixed to a window to be sealed up with a bracket cover(5) and provided with a gear guide groove(1-1) to make an automatic-cum-manual gear(7) move forward and backward stably, an automatic hook(6) built in the bracket and pressurized when locking automatically to be inserted to a groove of the automatic striker, a compression spring(15) retreating and advancing the automatic hook, an automatic hook pulling bar(8) pulling the automatic hook locked with the automatic-cum-manual gear operating together with the end of a rotary shaft(9) connected with a handle when a handle rotates in a 30-degree arc. and unlocking when using an automatic locking device, a fixed slide(4) engaged with the automatic-cum-manual gear when locking manually and fixed to a window together with a movable slide(3) and a bracket, a restoring spring(15-1) restoring the automatic-cum-manual gear when unlocking manually, a manual hook bracket(17) rotating the handle in a 180-degree arc. when locking manually to be located vertically, and a plate spring(19) coupled to a bracket cover(17-1); and a handle unit(D) composed of a handle turning the rotary shaft and the automatic-cum-manual gear when locking automatically to unlock the automatic hook and the automatic striker and advancing when locking manually to lift up the movable slide, a guide projection inserted to a handle guide groove(2-1) of a handle base(2) when rotating the handle under pressure to prevent the separation of the handle, a cylindrical washer(11) coupling the handle and the handle base without a gap, a restoring spring(15-3) restoring the handle between the handle and the handle base when unlocking manually, a rotary plate(10) keeping the rotary shaft coupled with the handle rotated in the preset angle when locking automatically, and a torsion spring(15-2) restoring the rotary shaft and the rotary plate after unlocking. |
