A plate type heat exchanger is provided to mount heat exchange media distribution pipes in headers for reducing resistance in the flow of first and second heat exchange media, thereby distributing the heat exchange media uniformly to first and second heat exchange media paths and improving heat exchange efficiency. A plate type heat exchanger includes a heat exchange tank(60) alternately arranged with a plurality of first and second heat exchange media paths. First and second headers(62,64) are mounted to the heat exchange tank for supplying or recovering first heat exchange medium. Third and fourth headers(66,68) are mounted to the heat exchange tank for supplying or recovering second heat exchange medium. Heat plates are disposed in the first and second heat exchange media paths in the path direction. A plurality of uniform distribution pipes(70) are inserted into the first to fourth headers and distribute the first and second heat exchange media to the first and second heat exchange media paths uniformly, wherein the distribution elements are formed with a plurality of holes for passing the first and second heat exchange media. |
